Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Epic Willow Analyst to join our innovative healthcare technology team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of implementing and optimizing Epic’s Willow platform-an advanced pharmacy management system-driving seamless integration with enterprise solutions. Your expertise will empower healthcare providers to deliver exceptional patient care through efficient medication management, inventory control, and clinical workflows. This position offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your technical skills and healthcare knowledge to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, collaborative environment., * Lead the analysis, design, configuration, and implementation of Epic Willow modules to meet clinical and operational needs.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including business analysts, system engineers, and clinical staff to gather requirements and develop tailored solutions.
  • Develop and maintain system workflows, interfaces, and integrations with other enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, and various database platforms.
  • Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning to ensure optimal functionality across diverse IT infrastructure environments.
  • Manage version control, configuration management, and deployment processes utilizing tools like Git, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Provide ongoing support for system troubleshooting, issue resolution, vulnerability assessments, and security enhancements aligned with cloud security standards like AWS and Azure.
  • Document technical specifications, system architecture diagrams, and user procedures to facilitate training and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in solution architecture for healthcare IT systems with a focus on Epic Willow or similar pharmacy management platforms.
  • Strong background in software development, system design, and application development within enterprise environments.
  • Hands-on knowledge of database systems such as SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL databases, and related data integration techniques (ETL).
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware/ESXi), cloud services (AWS/Azure), networking fundamentals (VPN, DNS, DHCP), and security protocols (firewalls, system hardening).
  • Expertise in systems engineering principles including load balancing, system troubleshooting support, vulnerability management, and threat intelligence.
  • Experience working within Agile SDLC frameworks using tools like Jenkins for continuous integration/deployment.
  • Strong analytical skills in requirements analysis combined with excellent cross-functional communication abilities to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash Shell Scripting for automation tasks; familiarity with RESTful APIs and web services for system integration.
