Job description

This position provides first-level technical support for hardware, applications, and operating systems, with a primary focus on onboarding, offboarding, replacement equipment, and other hardware requests. This role is responsible for remotely wiping and re-provisioning laptops for Health Centers to ensure they are ready for backfill and new hires. The role ensures day-one hardware readiness for all new teammates and manages equipment retrieval from departing teammates, while providing clear, timely communication to ticket submitters on status and resolution., * Act as the initial point of contact for all hardware requests, assisting users via phone, chat, and ticketing system submissions. Ensure that all requests are promptly resolved, appropriately routed, or escalated for timely resolution.

  • Deliver technical support for computer hardware, telephony systems, and peripherals.
  • Work closely with the onboarding team to ensure day-one hardware readiness for all new hires.
  • Work closely with the offboarding team to ensure equipment is wiped in the field or retrieved from termed teammates.
  • Consistently meet or exceed established Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for issue resolution, maintaining high standards of customer service.
  • Adhere strictly to all IT policies and procedures, including compliance with HIPAA, PCI, and HITRUST requirements.
  • Continuously expand technical expertise through self-directed learning and hands-on experience.

Requirements

Associate’s degree in information technology and 3+ years’ experience in IT support or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience., * CompTIA A+ and/or Network+ - Preferred

  • Proven experience performing in a remote office environment
  • Experience administering Microsoft Windows operating systems and Office products
  • Experience with Windows Server environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay Range: $24.00-28.00/hr

The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate’s years of experience and/or skill level.
