How can you participate?, * Work at the intersection of engineering and operations of Search & Sensei products at Adobe.

  • Work on large scale search index setup, setting up real-time messaging & data ingestion platforms, NO-SQL databases, web services & orchestration services and more.
  • Work on setting up cloud based technologies to enable Search & Sensei platform at Adobe.
  • Maintain and optimize search engine, identify new ideas to evolve it, develop new features and benchmark possible solutions, in terms of performance and feasibility.
  • Develop Search & Sensei employing technologies such as Elastic Search, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, HBase, Apache Spark, MongoDB, Caching Solutions, Web services, NO-SQL technologies, Terraform, Jenkins and more.
  • Work closely with other engineering team members to help support product development needs.
  • Work on crafting and building highly available and scalable infrastructure solutions. Roll out security features in the cloud. Architect and optimize infrastructure costs. Bring top distributed systems and DevOps methods into Adobe Search & Sensei World.

The goal is that this team provides one click set up from all the development of existing and newer projects. This role is not looking for candidates that have worked on release engineering only.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 3-7 years of meaningful experience in industry
  • Experience in building, deploying and managing infrastructures in public clouds (AWS, Azure)
  • Excellent programming (Perl/Python/Ruby/Shell/Go/Java) and automation skills
  • Exposure to set up large scale databases, performance tuning
  • Experience in operating and scaling various NO-SQL technologies such as Elastic Search, Kafka, HBase, MongoDB, Apache Spark, etc.
  • Exposure to of Linux/Unix System Administration experience
  • Experience with Git, Perforce, and Jenkins, exposure to cloud/virtualization technologies
  • Good knowledge of Cloud well architected frameworks, cloud build principals

Expected Pay Range: Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $139,000 – $257,550 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $177,900 - $257,550

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
