- Responsible for time-phased Roadmap Development for F18 Mission System’s transition to the cloud
- Collaborating closely with our IT and cybersecurity colleagues to ensure cost-effective, timely, and secure deployment of the environment and its tools
- Interfacing with development groups across the F/A-18 & EA-18G program in the planning and deployment of software factories and other toolchains and components
- Interfacing and collaborating with programs across Air Dominance during planning and implementation stages to ensure knowledge sharing and commonality where applicable across platforms
- Conduct evaluations, trade studies, and strategy discussions regarding cloud environments

Requirements
We seek candidates who have proven skills in cloud architecture, DevOps, software development, and infrastructure as code. This position will place you in roles where you have the opportunity to make an impact on the results of software development teams across our company., * Bachelor’s Degree
- 5+ years’ experience working with and supporting Linux systems
- Experience designing cloud architectures in AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with network layer cloud technologies
- Experience writing infrastructure as code using Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible
- Strong programming skills in at least one high-level language such as Java, Python, Go, or C++, * Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science and 9+ years of related work experience OR Bachelor’s Degree and 13+ years of directly related work experience OR 17+ years of related, relevant experience
- Experience with security and monitoring cloud technologies such as IAM, GuardDuty, or Security Hub (or equivalent)
- Experience in software development, systems engineering, or integration and test experience with mission systems on tactical platforms
- Strong Working knowledge of the CI/CD process including debugging, test, and integration of software tools
- Strong communication skills and a self-starter that can thrive in a fast paced, agile work environment
- Understanding of designing and implementing full stack/microservice infrastructure
- Understanding of secure software development methodologies and Security First mindset
- Understanding of security frameworks such as DoD RMF, CMMC, DFARS, and FedRAMP
