Job description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to join a lean, high-impact analytics team supporting a rapidly growing insurance and financial services organization. This individual will serve as a full-stack analytics engineer, partnering directly with business stakeholders to transform complex business questions into scalable data solutions, actionable dashboards, and meaningful insights.
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in an ambiguous environment, enjoys solving business problems through data, and can confidently communicate with stakeholders ranging from functional teams to senior leadership. The ideal candidate possesses strong technical expertise across analytics engineering, data modeling, dashboard development, and SQL, while also demonstrating curiosity, initiative, and a passion for continuous improvement.
Keye Responcibilites
Design, build, and maintain end-to-end analytics solutions, including data pipelines, data models, and business intelligence dashboards.
Develop dashboards and reporting solutions focused on marketing and business performance metrics.
Partner directly with business stakeholders to understand requirements, answer ad hoc analytical questions, and provide data-driven recommendations.
Translate business questions into SQL queries and analytical solutions while validating calculations and ensuring data accuracy.
Investigate metric fluctuations and perform deep-dive analyses to explain trends and business performance changes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Data Engineering, or a related field.
- Bachelors Degree in related field
- Advanced SQL + strong experience with Snowflake and data warehousing (SQL, Coalesce or DBT, Snowflake or Databricks, GCP)
-Experience leveraging AI tools to improve productivity, analysis, automation, or development workflows and ability to articulate practical use cases.
-Strong full-stack analytics engineering experience, including: Data pipeline development, Data modeling, Dashboard and reporting development
-Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data architectures
-Strong communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally with business stakeholders Personality is everything! need a go getter, self driven, solution oriented individual
Benefits & conditions
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options. 401k retirement account access with employer matching will start after 90 days if elected . Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
Pay range $60-75/hr
