Job description
We’re hiring Cable Technicians to support a long-term data center project in Michigan City, IN. This is a great opportunity to join a growing team working on fiber, network, and low-voltage systems in a commercial/industrial environment., Install and terminate fiber optic and copper cabling (Cat5/6, fiber connections)
Support network infrastructure including cameras, switches, and firewall systems
Run, route, label, and test cabling in a data center environment
Troubleshoot connectivity and cabling issues
Utilize basic hand tools (drills, etc.) safely and effectively
Follow PPE and OSHA safety standards on site
Work closely with a team to complete daily project goals

Requirements
Experience in commercial or industrial cabling environments (data center experience is a plus)
Familiarity with networking equipment (switches, firewalls, cameras)
Strong troubleshooting ability and mechanical aptitude
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification required
Ability to pass background check and drug test
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (mileage reimbursement may be available)
Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
