Supervisor: Data Review

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Supervisor, R&D Projects, overseeing initiatives that help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. In this role, you’ll lead a team of project managers and technical specialists while ensuring successful execution of complex pharmaceutical development and technology transfer projects. You’ll contribute to innovation by coordinating cross-functional teams, managing resource allocation, and maintaining client relationships. This position offers opportunities to contribute to therapeutic developments while developing leadership skills in a professional organization.

• Advanced Degree plus 3 years of experience, or Bachelor’s Degree plus 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry, with focus on R&D, technology transfer, and/or project management
• Preferred Fields of Study: Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Technology, Engineering, or related scientific field
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification desirable
• 2+ years of supervisory experience or demonstrated team leadership
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, pharmaceutical development processes, and regulatory requirements
• Experience in managing complex technical projects and client relationships
• Expertise in project management methodologies and tools (MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.)

Leadership & Communication:

• Experience leading, mentoring, and developing teams
• Proficiency in stakeholder management and client communication
• Effective negotiation and problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a responsive environment

• Proven ability to implement improvement initiatives
• Experience with budget management and resource planning

Technical Operations:

• Proficiency in pharmaceutical production techniques and processes
• Experience in technology transfer and scale-up activities
• Knowledge of quality systems and compliance requirements
• Ability to evaluate technical costs and assess project risks
• Understanding of laboratory operations and analytical methods, Must be legally authorized to work in the United States now and in the future, without sponsorship.

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, which includes a drug screening.
