Data Scientist, Sr.

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing rigorous statistical analyses, multi-goal tuning, and validating algorithms within client-specific Meridian MMM frameworks. Your primary focus will be on transforming noisy marketing signals and low-resolution data matrices into reliable, multi-objective spend recommendations. You will develop heuristic baseline models for high-variance datasets, ingest structured data from upstream pipelines for client-specific experimentation, and utilize Python alongside advanced SQL techniques within AWS Athena and PostgreSQL environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge marketing analytics, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to impactful projects that drive strategic decision-making for our clients., * Expand framework configurations to incorporate multiple client objectives, such as separating brand awareness metrics from revenue targets

• Develop robust heuristic models and backup strategies to generate valid insights from high-variance or limited datasets
• Ingest structured data from upstream pipelines to facilitate client-isolated experimentation
• Utilize modern AI-assisted IDE tools to accelerate data transformations while maintaining strict validation standards
• Collaborate daily with engineering teams via Slack and Google Meet to resolve technical dependencies and pipeline ambiguities
• Design and validate models that effectively handle complex, high-variance datasets for accurate marketing attribution
• Ensure compliance with data privacy and security standards, especially when working with multi-account or sensitive client data

• 5-7 years of professional experience in data science, with a focus on time-series analysis, prior distributions, or complex attribution modeling
• Proven experience applying or testing the Meridian MMM framework on real-world datasets
• Strong proficiency in Python, emphasizing tools that support static type systems and structured schemas
• Expertise in operating within Mac/Linux terminal environments, including Bash and shell utilities
• Advanced SQL skills for querying and preparing data in cloud systems such as AWS Athena and PostgreSQL
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to defend technical and mathematical methodologies confidently
