This role offers an exciting opportunity to influence enterprise-wide network architecture while working with the latest in networking protocols, security measures, and cloud integrations., * Design and develop robust network architectures utilizing advanced routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP, and MPLS to ensure optimal data flow and redundancy.

  • Lead the deployment and management of network infrastructure including LAN, WAN, SAN, VPNs, firewalls (Cisco ASA, Juniper), and SDN solutions to support organizational needs.
  • Implement comprehensive network security strategies using tools like Cisco ISE, Cisco ASA, and Meraki to safeguard against cyber threats and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud services such as AWS and Azure into existing network frameworks, enhancing scalability and flexibility.
  • Oversee network monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning using tools like VMware, Network management systems, and scripting languages (Python, Bash).
  • Develop detailed system designs and documentation for new installations or upgrades while adhering to SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) best practices.
  • Lead efforts in network automation through APIs, scripting, DevOps practices, and virtualization technologies to streamline operations and reduce manual intervention.

Requirements

  • Extensive experience in computer networking with a strong understanding of TCP/IP stack, DNS, DHCP, IPsec VPNs, load balancing techniques, and network protocols.
  • Proven expertise in configuring and managing Cisco routers (including Cisco IOS), Juniper devices, Meraki solutions, and other networking hardware.
  • Deep knowledge of network security principles including firewall management (Cisco ASA), intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and information security best practices.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure for designing hybrid cloud networks; familiarity with virtualization tools like VMware or Hyper-V is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript for automation purposes; experience with system design and network management tools is essential.
  • Strong background in IT infrastructure including operating systems (Windows/Linux/UNIX), database management (SQL/Oracle), and enterprise applications integration.
