Job description

  • Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise-wide network infrastructure including LAN (Local Area Network), WAN (Wide Area Network), and data center networks.
  • Configure and manage network devices such as Cisco routers, switches, ASA firewalls, Meraki access points, Juniper devices, and Cisco ISE for identity management.
  • Implement and support VPNs (Virtual Private Networks), IPsec tunnels, and remote access solutions to facilitate secure connectivity for remote users.
  • Monitor network performance using tools like SolarWinds, PRTG, and Splunk; perform vulnerability assessments and troubleshoot issues proactively.
  • Manage network security measures including IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems), firewalls, encryption protocols, LDAP authentication, PKI (Public Key Infrastructure), and cloud security frameworks such as AWS and Azure.
  • Conduct network installation projects involving SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) principles, high availability configurations, load balancing strategies, and virtualization platforms like VMware vSphere.
  • Support system administration tasks across various operating systems including Windows, Linux distributions (Ubuntu, CentOS, Debian), BSD variants, Solaris, macOS, and openSUSE.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Windows?, * Deep understanding of computer networking concepts including TCP/IP stack, routing protocols (OSPF, BGP EIGRP), network protocols (DNS, DHCP, NFS), VLANs, MPLS, QoS (Quality of Service), and Ethernet standards.

  • Hands-on experience with Cisco IOS/ASA/Meraki platforms; Juniper networks; network management tools such as SolarWinds or PRTG; and scripting languages like Bash (Unix shell scripting), PowerShell or Python for automation.
  • Expertise in network security practices including SSO (Single Sign-On), SSL/TLS encryption, SSH access management, network monitoring with SolarWinds or Splunk; vulnerability assessment; and implementing best practices aligned with ITIL frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud environments such as AWS or Azure; virtualization technologies including VMware vSphere; containerization; DevOps methodologies; and configuration management tools like Ansible.
  • Strong knowledge of system administration across multiple operating systems-Windows Server environments; Linux distributions such as Ubuntu or CentOS; UNIX variants-and their respective networking configurations.
  • Ability to support complex telecommunication systems including VoIP solutions; SFTP/FTP file transfers; remote access software; SAN/NFS storage solutions; GPO management; DHCP reservations; LDAP integration; high availability architectures; and disaster recovery planning. Embark on this exciting journey to shape our network landscape! We’re looking for energetic professionals eager to innovate with the latest technology trends in computer science and IT infrastructure-your expertise will help us build resilient networks that power our success!
