Job description
The National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) is an agency within the U.S. Department of Commerce responsible for advising the President on telecommunications and information policy matters, including expanding broadband access and adoption, managing Federal spectrum use, advancing telecommunications innovation, supporting public safety communications, and promoting policies that support the growth of the digital economy.
This position supports NTIA’s Office of Policy Coordination and Management (OPCM), which provides enterprise mission enablement support services across NTIA, including financial management, budget execution, strategic planning, human resources coordination, information technology operational coordination, acquisitions support, administrative operations, facilities and property management, reporting support, process improvement initiatives, workforce support, and enterprise operational coordination. OPCM operates in a dynamic environment that requires agile operational support capable of adapting to changing mission priorities, executive direction, emerging issues, workload fluctuations, and evolving organizational requirements.
The Business Process and Operations Analyst supports operational modernization, workflow improvement, process coordination, and continuous improvement initiatives supporting enterprise operational effectiveness across NTIA. The position also supports data analytics, reporting, and dashboard activities and operational coordination across multiple functional task areas, contributing to streamlined operational processes, workflow modernization, and improved organizational efficiency.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Perform workflow analysis and process improvement support to streamline operational processes and improve organizational efficiency.
- Develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) and process documentation.
- Support operational modernization initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
- Support business process coordination activities across enterprise operations.
- Support dashboard development and operational reporting, including Power BI and Tableau reporting support, to improve executive visibility into operational priorities, reporting metrics, and workload tracking.
- Support workflow and operational metrics, operational analytics, and executive reporting activities supporting organizational decision-making.
- Support data calls and reporting coordination as tasked.
- Support operational coordination activities that may involve Government platforms, collaboration tools, workflow management tools, and reporting applications, including SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Tableau, Power BI, and ServiceNow.
- Prepare reports and analyses that are clear, concise, accurate, and transparent in methodology, using consistent formats across reporting periods.
- Support monthly operational status reporting and evolving reporting demands, and handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in business process analysis, workflow analysis, process improvement, and process documentation.
- Experience developing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and supporting operational modernization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting operational reporting, analytics, and dashboard development.
- Ability to prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports with transparent methodology and consistent formats.
- Ability to comply with the highest standards of professional conduct, exhibit strong ethical behavior, and maintain confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to evolving project needs.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders.
- Ability to hold or obtain any necessary security clearances or certifications as required by the project.
Required Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.

Compensation Disclaimer: The salary range listed reflects a broad span to account for variations in experience, education, certifications, security clearance level, and other job-related factors. Final compensation will be determined based on the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, and alignment with both company guidelines and contractual rate restrictions established by the Government or customer.
Pay: $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
