Job description
We are hiring a Senior .NET Developer to support the Office of Early Childhood (OEC) in Hartford, CT. This is an exciting opportunity to work on enterprise application modernization projects involving Power Apps, ASP.NET MVC, Azure, and data migration initiatives., The ideal candidate will have strong full-stack .NET development experience, excellent SQL and Azure knowledge, and experience validating complex data migrations while working in an Agile Scrum environment., * Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework, and Azure App Services
- Develop and enhance Power Apps and customer-facing web applications
- Gather and analyze business requirements and convert them into user stories and technical specifications
- Create and maintain process flows, data mapping, and interface mapping documentation
- Develop automated SQL scripts for data validation and migration testing
- Validate migrated data, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and ensure data integrity
- Design and optimize Azure SQL databases, stored procedures, and database objects
- Collaborate with data engineers supporting SSIS ETL and migration activities
- Participate in code reviews and follow software development best practices
- Create test cases, execute testing, and manage defects using Azure DevOps
- Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
- Support CI/CD deployments through Azure DevOps pipelines, * User Stories & Acceptance Criteria

Requirements
- Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC and Entity Framework
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure technologies including:
- Azure SQL
- Azure App Service
- Azure DevOps
- Azure Git Repositories
- CI/CD Pipelines
- Experience developing automated SQL/data validation scripts
- Strong understanding of relational databases, data modeling, and data migration
- Experience creating legacy-to-modern system and data mapping documentation
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Visio
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Power Apps
- Experience supporting government or public-sector modernization projects
- Knowledge of enterprise security and access management
- Experience with APIs, system integrations, and report validation
