Data Architect

We are seeking an experienced Data Architect with 10+ years of experience designing enterprise-scale data architectures across complex, multi-product, and multi-domain environments.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in enterprise data modeling, Domain-Driven Design, event-driven architecture, cloud data platforms, and modern lakehouse/medallion architectures.

Core Skills and Responsibilities

• 10+ years of experience in data architecture across complex enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data modeling across conceptual, logical, and physical layers.

• Strong understanding of Domain-Driven Design (DDD), including:

• Bounded Contexts
• Aggregates
• Domain Events
• Anti-Corruption Layers

Experience designing and governing event-driven architectures.

Strong knowledge of schema registries and data governance.

Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms, including AWS or Azure.

Proficiency in SQL and Python for data engineering, pipeline development, data validation, and transformation.

Experience designing and implementing Medallion/Lakehouse Architecture, including Bronze, Silver, and Gold layers.

Ability to translate complex data architecture decisions into clear technical guidance for engineering teams.

Comfortable presenting architectural decisions, trade-offs, and recommendations to senior technical leadership.

Experience authoring architecture standards, patterns, guidelines, and best practices consumed by multiple engineering teams.

Collaborate with engineering, product, business, and technical stakeholders to develop scalable and governed data solutions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with government healthcare programs such as Medicaid, CHIP, or Medicare.

• Familiarity with healthcare data standards, including:

• X12 EDI
• NCPDP
• FHIR R4
• HL7

Experience with claims processing systems or health plan administration is a strong advantage
