Software Engineer, ML Inference Platform

Experteer Overview In this role, you will join Nuro’s ML Infrastructure team to design, build, and operate core ML infrastructure for autonomy. You will enable end-to-end ML workflows-from data pipelines to model deployment-across the fleet of self-driving robots. You will contribute to robust, scalable systems that support on-road validation and real-time inference. This role offers the chance to shape the foundational platform powering autonomous mobility at scale, in a collaborative, research-driven environment. Compensation / Benefits * Design and develop ML workflow pipelines to train, optimize, validate, and deploy autonomy models * Develop and maintain continuous testing and monitoring systems for core ML infrastructure components * Build observability to track ML model lifecycles from data generation to on-road validation * Maintain an in-house ML inference platform for large language models * Maintain an in-house ML compiler platform to compile/deploy/validate autonomy models on various hardware platforms Tasks * Bachelor, Master, or PhD (degree in a relevant field) with 1+ years of experience * Strong proficiency in Python; familiarity with C++ * Technical excellence in performance, scalability, and code quality * Experience with ML pipelines and distributed systems * Ability to learn quickly and work independently in complex systems Key requirements * annual performance bonus * equity * competitive benefits package
