Experteer Overview As Product Design Architect, you translate industrial design into production-ready Class-A surfaces using NX/Alias. You collaborate across Industrial Design, UX, Engineering, Manufacturing, and external partners to deliver high-quality CAD models that meet requirements and scale to mass production. You push 3D surfacing to the highest level while staying aligned with manufacturing viability and company goals. This role offers the chance to shape consumer devices from concept to production in Google’s Hardware Design organization. Compensation / Benefits * Capture and preserve industrial design intent using NX/Alias from sketches and discussions * Deliver production-level CAD models with Class-A surfaces meeting requirements * Create high-quality 3D surfaces for design concepts, prototypes, evaluations, and visualizations * Collaborate cross-functionally with Industrial Design, UX, Engineering, Manufacturing, and external teams * Work independently and across teams through the development and build process * Travel to manufacturing facilities or sites to ensure manufacturing viability while preserving design goals * Stay informed about new materials, processes, and emerging tech to inform product development * Identify and propose future tools and processes to support growth of the department and company Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience * 6 years of experience in consumer product design, including consumer electronics * Experience with 3D surfacing using NX/Alias * Experience designing and shipping consumer products * Portfolio, website, or work sample with viewable access Key requirements * bonus target * equity * benefits
