- Design and implement RESTful APIs to support web development projects, ensuring scalability and security.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate system requirements into technical specifications utilizing UML diagrams and system design principles.
- Implement multithreading techniques and distributed computing strategies to enhance application performance under high load.
- Conduct unit testing, debugging, and code reviews to uphold high-quality software standards within the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
- Utilize version control tools such as GitHub, SVN, or TFS to manage code repositories efficiently.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies like sprint planning and daily stand-ups to ensure timely delivery of features.
- Integrate cloud infrastructure services such as AWS or Azure for deployment and scalability of backend solutions.
- Develop system architecture that emphasizes scalability, security, and maintainability while adhering to best practices in application design.
Requirements
- Proven experience developing backend systems with Java in a professional setting.
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience with web services such as SOAP or REST.
- Proficiency in database design and management using relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL) or NoSQL solutions like MongoDB.
- Familiarity with front-end development frameworks including React, TypeScript, HTML/CSS for full-stack collaboration is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud infrastructure platforms such as AWS or Azure for deploying scalable applications.
- Experience with software engineering best practices including UML modeling, UML diagrams for system design, CI/CD pipelines, version control systems like Git or SVN.
- Ability to implement application security measures and optimize performance through multithreading and distributed systems techniques.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on debugging complex issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within an Agile team environment.
- Familiarity with tools such as Visual Studio Code, Eclipse, or IntelliJ IDEA for development purposes is advantageous.
