Job description

Provide exceptional technical support to our Operations team, Licensing Team, and Licensees. Your primary responsibilities include troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining various technical equipment to ensure smooth operations and high-quality service., Technical Support and Operations

  • Assemble, repair, and test PCs.
  • Install and configure operating systems and application software (Windows & Linux).
  • Install and test LCD monitors.
  • Install, configure, and repair various printers.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot point of sale systems.
  • Install, configure, and test digital cameras.

Customer Support

  • Provide phone support, including after hours and weekends on a rotating schedule.
  • Conduct on-site service to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Perform on-site installations for various technical equipment and systems.
  • Answer tech support line, solve quick problems, and log in ticketing system.
  • Must possess strong customer relations skills in caring for Colorvision International’s internal and external customers/clients, instilling the appropriate sense of urgency and understanding to ensure the client trusts their needs will be addressed to standard and as quickly as possible.
  • Utilize ticketing system for tracking, documenting, and resolving support requests.
  • Log all service calls and follow up to ensure service requests are resolved satisfactorily and timely.
  • Assist with photo quality to ensure image consistency, proper calibration, and operational standards are maintained.
  • Maintain a sense of urgency to complete tasks promptly and effectively.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required.
  • 1 year of digital imaging support, preferred.
  • 1+ years of PC technical call center support experience.
  • Must possess CompTIA A+ certification to ensure competency in hardware, software, and troubleshooting best practices.
  • An Associate’s degree (in a computing field) or a 2-year technical certificate, or equivalent relevant experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated basic to moderate skills in PC hardware and Windows application troubleshooting, printer troubleshooting, and networking
  • Must be familiar with Windows (Win10, 11) and demonstrate proficiency in digital imaging systems
  • Familiarity with concepts and procedures commonly used in PC software and hardware technical support required.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including a good grasp of grammar and spelling will ensure effective client communication.
  • Ability to maintain professional demeanor with customers and coworkers.
  • Must have strong problem-solving, prioritization and time management skills.
  • Capability and temperament to work as a productive member of a support team.

Travel Required

  • This role requires domestic/international travel to client sites, with the heaviest travel period falling between February and June.
  • Travel and provide onsite support for customer sites as needed (Estimated 30%, Travel is mainly during setup season March- June).
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a valid U.S. passport and legally authorized to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to work in an office setting and/or a client site.
  • When in office, working hours are spent at a desk using a computer and other office equipment such as printers, copiers, postage machines, etc.
  • This role requires occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
  • Must be able to perform work at heights of up to 40 feet and follow OSHA standards and safety procedures when operating lifts or using ladders.
  • Frequent standing, walking, and sitting are necessary.
  • Regular use of hands and fingers for handling, reaching, and tactile sensing is expected, along with the ability to communicate clearly through speech and hearing.
  • Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
