Java Developer

• As a Java Developer at Stairway Digital Strategies, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining bespoke web-based applications for our clients. You will work closely with our team of designers, project managers, and other developers to create functional, efficient, and user-friendly websites that meet our clients’ needs and surpass their expectations.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain web-based applications using Java and related technologies
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to achieve project goals and meet client requirements
• Troubleshoot and debug technical issues as they arise
• Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in the software development industry
• Continuously implement new features and improvements to existing applications
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to colleagues
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery
• Communicate project progress and potential roadblocks to project managers and other stakeholders
• Follow industry best practices and adhere to coding standards

• 3+ years of experience in Java development
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns
• Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, and Struts
• Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with front-end frameworks such as React or Angular is a plus
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
