Computer Specialist/Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computer Technician to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining computer systems and networks. This role requires a strong understanding of various operating systems and network protocols, as well as excellent customer service skills to assist students and staff effectively., * Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, and servers.

• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems with a strong emphasis on MacOS
• Monitor network performance and security by managing firewalls and TCP/IP configurations.
• Analyze system performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide exceptional customer service by assisting users with technical inquiries and support requests.
• Collaborate with team members to develop solutions for complex technical problems.

• Proven experience in a computer technician role or similar IT support position.
• Strong knowledge of operating systems (MacOS and GoogleChromeOS preferred) and networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls).
• Familiarity with troubleshooting tools and techniques for both hardware and software issues.
• Excellent analytical skills with the ability to diagnose problems quickly and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members., * Associate (Preferred)
