Job description

If you’re passionate about Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, SQL, and Copilot Studio, this role offers the chance to own projects from architecture through deployment while influencing the company’s long-term data strategy.

What You’ll Do

As the organization’s technical expert for business applications and analytics, you’ll:

  • Design and deploy enterprise-level Power BI semantic models, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
  • Build scalable Microsoft Fabric Lakehouses and Data Warehouses.
  • Develop robust ETL/ELT pipelines using PySpark, SQL, and Fabric Notebooks.
  • Optimize enterprise datasets through Query Folding, Incremental Refresh, Direct Lake mode, and Delta table optimization.
  • Connect and integrate data from SQL Servers, Microsoft Dataverse, Azure services, REST APIs, and third-party cloud platforms.
  • Establish best practices around Git version control, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment governance.
  • Manage Power BI tenant administration, licensing, workspace governance, Row-Level Security (RLS), and On-Premises Data Gateways.
  • Build and deploy Microsoft Copilot solutions and AI agents using Copilot Studio to automate reporting, data discovery, and business processes.
  • Monitor Fabric capacity and Azure consumption to maximize performance and control costs.
  • Partner closely with business leaders to translate operational needs into scalable technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience developing enterprise Power BI solutions.
  • Strong expertise with:
  • Microsoft Fabric
  • Azure Data Services
  • SQL
  • DAX
  • Power Query (M)
  • PySpark
  • Experience designing Lakehouse architectures, Fabric Data Warehouses, and modern cloud data platforms.
  • Experience implementing Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  • 3+ years of experience configuring Microsoft Copilot and building AI-powered solutions using Copilot Studio.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, governance, security, and enterprise reporting best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to business stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently while collaborating across technical and functional teams.
  • Must be able to work onsite five days per week.
