Job description

  • Co-Develop Acoustic Test solutions for the production factory and R&D, follow department processes; requirements, schematics, component selection, wiring diagrams, theory of operation, PCB layout, calibration, and lead technical reviews.
  • Perform statistical analysis to characterize and validate acoustic test systems. Drive standardization of test platforms, hardware architecture, calibration methodologies, and measurement systems across sites. Build and maintain cross-functional working relationships both locally and abroad. Partner with Operations, Product Engineering, Quality, NPI, and Manufacturing leadership to define next-generation test strategies. Provide technical coaching across global test engineering teams, lead technology investigations and proof-of-concept projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required, MS preferred with 4 - 15 years of experience developing hardware for small signal audio, and or large signal audio test solutions.
  • 12+ years of relevant experience developing advanced hardware test systems.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex technical programs across multiple sites.
  • Experience influencing technical strategy and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Experience designing, building, and debugging electronic systems using digital oscilloscopes, power supplies, I2C digital bus, and standard small signal electrical lab equipment.
  • Altium Designer Knowles and experience with at least 4 layer PCBs.
  • Knowledge of audio or signal processing techniques, analog/digital conversions.
  • Knowledge of structured hardware and software principles and methods.
  • Preferred experience and or system on chip (SoC) programming.
  • Preferred, but not needed experience of digital design techniques.
  • Preferred, but not needed experience of transducers and acoustics is desirable.
  • Preferred, but not needed experience of designing 3D printed prototypes.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential.
