IT Support Specialist

We’re hiring a part-time IT Support Specialist to support an education and testing center at Travis Air Force Base.

This is a hands-on IT support role covering Windows workstations, testing lab computers, printers, Wi-Fi/network equipment, classroom AV systems, software troubleshooting, backups, and basic equipment inventory.

The schedule is consistent weekday mornings with no nights or weekends.

What you’ll do

• Set up, configure, and image Windows computers
• Maintain computers used in the testing lab
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, and connectivity issues
• Support Wi-Fi and basic network hardware
• Maintain classroom AV equipment
• Perform backups and routine system maintenance
• Provide day-to-day technical support to staff
• Maintain basic IT equipment inventory
• Occasionally move and set up computer equipment

• Current CompTIA A+ certification
• Current CompTIA Security+ certification
• At least 1 year of hands-on IT support experience within the past 5 years
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Able to meet Travis AFB installation access requirements
• Available on-site Monday through Friday mornings

Preferred

Experience supporting IT systems in a military, government, or education environment is helpful but not required.
