Job description
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Salesforce Administrator to support the configuration, administration and ongoing maintenance of our Salesforce platform. In this role you will manage day-to-day admin tasks, build and maintain automation, and help keep our Salesforce instance clean, scalable and easy for the business to use. This is a hands-on configuration role, not a development role. This position is a great fit for someone with at least 12 months of real-world, hands-on Salesforce administration experience who is ready to take on more ownership.
Duties
- Manage daily Salesforce administration tasks, including user account management, role and profile assignment, and permission set configuration
- Build and maintain Flows, validation rules, custom objects and fields, and page layouts to support business processes
- Support the rollout of new Salesforce features and configuration changes aligned with business needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve configuration and functionality issues within Salesforce
- Maintain data quality through deduplication, validation rules and routine data hygiene
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards for internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable Salesforce configuration
- Document system changes, processes and configuration decisions for internal knowledge sharing
- Support user onboarding, training and troubleshooting as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months of hands-on, real-world experience configuring and administering Salesforce in a professional environment. Training, certifications or coursework alone do not meet this requirement
- Salesforce Administrator (ADM 201) certification required
- Demonstrated experience building Flows, validation rules, custom objects, permission sets and page layouts
- Experience managing user access, roles and sharing settings
- Experience building reports and dashboards
- Strong attention to detail and comfort working directly with business stakeholders to gather and clarify requirements
- Familiarity with Salesforce data management best practices, including deduplication and data quality maintenance
- Nice to have: exposure to Sales Cloud or Service Cloud, experience with a declarative automation migration (e.g. Workflow Rules to Flow), or familiarity with a data tool like Data Loader or Jetstream
