Job description

Supports Budget & Financial Strategy and Institutional Reporting efforts by collecting, validating, and analyzing institutional data, maintaining reports and dashboards, and assisting in generating accurate, actionable insights to inform decision-making., * Generate and maintain recurring reports (monthly/quarterly budget reports, KPI tracking).

  • Update and refresh dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) using pre-built data models.
  • Ensure reports are accurate, timely, and clearly formatted for stakeholders.
  • Assist in report automation efforts (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python).
  • Pull and consolidate data from systems such as: Financial/HR ERP systems, Student Information Systems (SIS), Faculty Affairs SQL database, and other systems as assigned.
  • Clean and validate datasets to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Flag data discrepancies and escalate issues to senior team members.
  • Perform descriptive analysis (trends, averages, growth rates) on financial and enrollment data.
  • Create visualizations (charts, tables, dashboards) for internal use.
  • Gather data from departments for surveys, rankings, and other reporting needs.
  • Performs other related duties as directed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree, Approximately 2 years of related experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables)
  • SQL (basic queries and joins)
  • Visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written).
