IT Organizational Change Management Consultant

Experteer Overview In this role you drive IT project success by leading Organizational Change Management activities that prepare and enable users to adopt technology and process changes. You will partner with project managers, IT teams, and business stakeholders to plan readiness, engagement, training, and sustainment. You’ll own OCM workplans, communications, and training coordination while surfacing risks and decisions. This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that shapes adoption across medium-to-large IT initiatives. Compensation / Benefits * Develop and maintain OCM workplans, deliverables, timelines, and trackers for assigned projects * Support change impact and stakeholder assessments and translate findings into readiness and adoption actions * Coordinate OCM activities for medium to large IT projects * Relate business and IT objectives to support planning * May lead selected assignments including OCM project plans and resource coordination * Maintain stakeholder lists, engagement trackers, action logs, feedback summaries, and readiness docs * Draft audience-specific communications, updates, leader talking points, FAQs, and adoption messages * Support communication planning with calendars and distribution planning * Develop training materials and resources (job aids, guides, facilitator notes) * Deliver project-related training sessions, workshops, demos, and reinforcement sessions * Track readiness activities, risks, feedback, and follow-ups through go-live and sustainment * Lead process improvement within assigned area Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Communications, Organizational Development, Information Systems, Learning & Development, or related field * 6-8+ years of change management, stakeholder engagement, and communication/training experience on complex projects * Change management certification or training (e.g., Prosci, ACMP) preferred * Ability to navigate organizational structures and decision channels to support project execution * Experience with IT projects including ERP, SAP, digital transformation, infrastructure, or enterprise applications * Strong written communication and ability to create audience-focused materials * Ability to manage multiple priorities, track deliverables, and escalate risks as needed * Experience facilitating training sessions and stakeholder enablement * Proficiency with project trackers, calendars, and readiness logs * Leveraging approved AI tools to enhance OCM efficiency and quality Key requirements * Health, welfare and retirement plans * 401(k) and company contributions * Paid Time Off * Education & Development including Tuition Reimbursement * Student Loan Repayment Assistance * Flexible Spending Accounts
