Job description
The Data Center Operations Analyst II supports the stability, reliability, and continuous operation of Brightstar Lottery’s critical domestic and international systems. This role executes established operational procedures, participates in system monitoring and release activities, and contributes to maintaining audit-ready operational standards. The Analyst II works under the guidance of senior team members while building depth across systems, processes, and jurisdictional requirements. This position requires solid communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams and clearly document technical activity in support of overall operational integrity., * Support the processing and monitoring of critical CAT and Production environments to ensure continuity across QA, CAT, and Production systems.
- Execute defined install and release plans in accordance with change control requirements, coordinating with install teams during scheduled release windows.
- Track system changes, environment readiness, and approvals to support compliance with change control and audit expectations.
- Serve as a first-line responder for operational incidents, performing initial triage and escalating to senior team members as needed to reduce downtime and financial exposure.
- Maintain operational documentation, error logs, risk logs, and production support artifacts under established procedures.
- Contribute to operational reviews for active jurisdictions and offer input on enhancements to tools, systems, and procedures.
- Participate in training activities and knowledge-transfer sessions to develop technical depth across systems and site environments.
- Support cross-functional coordination for IT, infrastructure, and jurisdiction-focused projects by providing operational input to Project Managers, site leadership, and corporate teams.
- Assist with the testing and deployment of new operational procedures, training materials, and process improvements.
- Support Training Needs Analysis sessions and provide operational input during business process design.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree and typically 3 to 5 years of related experience; or Master’s degree with 1 to 3 years; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 2 years of operational support experience in data center or similar production environments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

At Brightstar, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $40,887 - $115,000. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses. In addition, we offer employees a 401(k) Savings Plan with Company contributions, health, dental, and vision insurance, life, accident, and disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, paid time off, wellness programs, and identity theft insurance. Note: programs are subject to eligibility requirements.
