The information below reflects the standard job description for this position: Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications., * Experience in Systems Engineering, or related technical field experience with knowledge of Systems Engineering concepts and processes
- Demonstrated ability to work with multiple engineering field to identify technical product characteristics and con-op to develop requirements specifications
- Demonstrated ability to develop and decompose complex system architectures
- Writing requirements documentation and coordinating release through approval process
- DOORS or similar tool for requirements management, decomposition and publication
- Must be eligible to obtain an Interim Secret Clearance to Start (No Clearance required to Apply); US Citizenship required
- Must obtain and maintain a Final Secret Clearance
Desired Skills
- Script modification and development, preferably with DOORS
- Experience with DOORS, ePDM and change processes
- Experienced in model-based systems engineering (MBSE) with Cameo Systems Modeler to develop, analyze, and validate complex system architectures.
- Ability to define and document solutions to complex problems and to convey solutions to both senior management and to other internal/external teams
- Familiarity with program and design review process (SRR, PDR, CDR, FRR, etc.)
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience coordinating with multiple key partners
- Demonstrated behaviors of a systems thinker; selects and applies appropriate systems thinking skills to solve very complex problems and implement constructive change
- Missile or space segment design and test experience with one or more subsystems or disciplines outside of Systems Engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong social skills, and ability to build consensus among peers while building solid relationships with team members
- Master’s Degree in Systems Engineering, INCOSE Certification, or relevant Graduate Certificate

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
