QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer with 8+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation frameworks for web and API applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Selenium WebDriver, TestNG/JUnit, API automation, SQL, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software solutions., · Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks for web and API applications.

· Develop and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.

· Perform API automation using REST Assured and Postman.

· Validate application data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.

· Identify, document, and track software defects using JIRA.

· Integrate automation test suites into CI/CD pipelines.

· Collaborate with developers, business analysts, product owners, and QA teams to ensure quality deliverables.

· Prepare test plans, execution reports, and quality metrics.

· Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

· Continuously improve automation frameworks, test coverage, and testing processes.

· Strong programming experience with Java.

· Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.

· Experience with TestNG and/or JUnit.

· API automation using REST Assured or Postman.

· Strong SQL knowledge for database validation.

· Experience with Jenkins, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

· Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

· Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

· Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with AWS or Azure cloud testing.

· Performance testing using JMeter.

· Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.

· Knowledge of BDD using Cucumber.

· Experience testing cloud-native applications.
