Requirements

Seeking an experienced AWS Database Migration Consultant with strong expertise in SQL Server modernization and cloud database transformation projects. The role requires hands-on experience with SQL Server on EC2, Amazon RDS for SQL Server, and SQL Server to Amazon Aurora migrations using AWS DMS and SCT. Candidates should have expertise in SQL performance tuning, T-SQL stored procedure analysis, database object migration, and high-availability designs using Multi-AZ and Availability Groups. Strong understanding of multi-region database architecture, disaster recovery strategies, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) is required. The consultant will work closely with customer teams to assess, migrate, optimize, and modernize enterprise database workloads on AWS.

Must Have Skills:

  • SQL Server on EC2 and Amazon RDS, SQL Server to Aurora Migration, AWS DMS and SCT, SQL Performance Tuning & T-SQL Analysis

  • Database Object Migration, Multi-AZ & Multi-Region Design, Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

  • Amazon Redshift, Kinesis Firehose, EKS and Database Integration, AWS Data Platform Modernization Experience

  • Experience: 10+ years in Database Administration, Migration, or Cloud Data Engineering with AWS.
