Sr Software Engineer

• Design, develop, and support enterprise applications using Java, Spring, and React.
• Modernize legacy applications and migrate systems from on-prem to AWS or Azure.
• Build cloud-native, containerized applications and API-driven integrations.
• Work with cloud databases, messaging, serverless, containers, API management, secrets management, and monitoring.
• Improve CI/CD and DevOps practices.
• Use AI-enabled development tools for coding, testing, documentation, and refactoring.
• Spend approximately 50% of the role mentoring three junior engineers.
• Own and support at least 10 company applications or integrations.
• Participate in architecture, design, and technical roadmap decisions.

• 7+ years of enterprise application development and systems integration experience.
• Strong Java backend and React frontend experience.
• Experience working with legacy code.
• Hands-on experience migrating applications from on-prem to AWS or Azure.
• Experience with containerization and cloud-native application design.
• Practical experience using AI-enabled software development tools.
• Strong communication skills with technical, non-technical, and external stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in a smaller company or startup environment and the ability to mentor other engineers is highly valued.
• Spring, Entra ID (Azure AD), Jenkins, GitHub, Jira, and multi-cloud experience are a plus.
