Job description
A client of ours is looking for a Senior HRIS Analyst for a contract role to serve as a key resource in the administration, optimization, and ongoing support of the organization’s Human Resources Information Systems. This position will play a critical role in maintaining accurate employee data, supporting system enhancements, delivering workforce reporting and analytics, and partnering with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT teams to improve business processes and system functionality., * Act as the primary administrator for the UKG HR system, overseeing daily system operations and processing employee lifecycle transactions including hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, organizational updates, and terminations.
- Maintain organizational structures and employee records within the HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with established policies and procedures.
- Monitor and uphold data integrity across multiple HR platforms and modules, including core HR, benefits, time management, and talent management systems.
- Conduct routine audits, identify discrepancies, and proactively resolve data-related issues to ensure accurate and reliable workforce information.
- Develop, generate, and analyze standard and custom reports, dashboards, and workforce metrics to support strategic decision-making for HR, Finance, and business leadership.
- Provide meaningful insights and recommendations through workforce analytics, helping leaders identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
- Support system enhancements, configuration updates, and process improvements while assisting with testing, documentation, implementation, and user adoption activities.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot issues, improve system performance, and streamline HR processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of HRIS experience with advanced knowledge of UKG.
- Strong experience configuring and maintaining HRIS workflows, security roles, business rules, system fields, and related configurations.
- Proven ability to manage system enhancements, configuration changes, new process implementations, and minor system releases, including testing, documentation, and end-user training.
- Experience leveraging HR Analytics to develop workforce reports, dashboards, metrics, and actionable business insights.
- Extensive knowledge of HR data management, reporting, auditing, and data integrity best practices.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to communicate complex system capabilities and limitations in a clear and practical manner to HR, Payroll, Finance, IT, and business leaders.
- Demonstrated experience collaborating effectively with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver HR technology solutions.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and support decision-making across the organization.
