- Lead strategic, cross-functional projects from planning through implementation and go-live.
- Manage project scope, timelines, budgets, resources, risks, issues, and vendors.
- Apply Scrum/Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate.
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and ensure effective Agile project delivery.
- Provide executive-level reporting on project status, budgets, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Partner with business and technology stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery.
- Drive process improvements using Six Sigma and project management best practices.
Requirements
This role will function as a Senior Manager of Strategic Projects and will lead high-impact, cross-functional initiatives aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives and report to the CIO. This role requires a proven project/program leader with direct Power/Energy sector experience, strong Scrum/Agile expertise, and experience managing complex technology implementations.
ETRM implementation experience with OpenLink, Allegro, or Endur is highly desired. The ideal candidate will also have PMP, Six Sigma, and/or SAFe certifications and strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills., * Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or related field
- 5+ years of program/project management experience.
- Direct experience in the Power/Energy sector is REQUIRED.
- Proven experience leading large-scale, cross-functional technology projects.
- Strong Scrum/Agile methodology experience.
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
- Experience managing budgets, resources, vendors, and project risks.
- Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP, Six Sigma, and/or SAFe certification.
- ETRM system implementation experience - OpenLink, Allegro, or Endur highly desired.
- Experience with SCADA, GMS, and/or Bid-to-Bill processes.
- Knowledge of energy trading, power generation, scheduling, settlements, or risk management., * Project management: 5 years (Preferred)
- Energy Industry: 5 years (Preferred)
- Scrum: 5 years (Preferred)
- ETRM impementation: 3 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- PMP (Preferred)
- SAFe (Preferred)
- Lean Six Sigma Certification (Preferred)
