Experteer Overview In this Senior Data Engineer role, you will design, build, and scale Ford’s next-gen big data infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform while integrating Agentic AI systems. You’ll enable real-time data streaming, advanced analytics, and automated decision pipelines that support Ford’s subscription and services products. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to translate data into timely, evidence-based insights that shape business decisions. This opportunity offers a chance to tackle high-performance, distributed architectures at scale and to influence the future of mobility technology. You will join a mission-driven team focused on turning data into strategic action. Compensation / Benefits * Architect, construct, and optimize end-to-end data ingestion, processing, and distribution pipelines * Leverage PySpark and Google Cloud technologies for terabyte-to-petabyte datasets * Design, deploy, and maintain Agentic AI solutions on enterprise data assets * Establish and advance CI/CD practices for data engineering pipelines * Collaborate with product, data science, and software teams to support subscription metrics and analytics * Mentor and guide junior engineers in technical best practices * Champion data governance, security, and quality across platforms Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or closely related field * 7+ years building enterprise-grade big data platforms and distributed data systems * 6+ years production-grade PySpark expertise, with optimization and memory management skills * 3+ years on GCP with deep knowledge of BigQuery, Dataflow/DataProc, Spanner, and Airflow/Astronomer * Hands-on experience with Agentic AI solutions, LLM integration, and cognitive search pipelines * CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Tekton, Jenkins, or similar * Domain familiarity with integrated services and subscriptions platforms (billing, entitlements, usage-based models) Key requirements * medical, dental, vision coverage * flexible family care days * paid parental leave * tuition assistance * vehicle discount program * paid holidays
