Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Core Java, UI Automation, API Automation, and Test Automation Framework Development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automation frameworks and should be able to demonstrate deep technical knowledge in Java programming, Selenium automation, REST Assured, and CI/CD integration., * Develop and maintain automated test solutions using Core Java, Selenium, and REST Assured.

  • Write efficient, scalable Java code utilizing OOP concepts, Collections, and Exception Handling.
  • Build and enhance UI and API automation frameworks to improve test coverage and quality.
  • Create and maintain reliable XPath/CSS selectors and UI automation scripts.
  • Design and execute API automation tests and integrate them into existing frameworks.
  • Support framework architecture, execution strategies, reporting, and test data management.
  • Integrate automation suites with CI/CD pipelines and drive automation best practices.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to improve testing efficiency and product quality.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

This role requires a strong problem solver who can independently build automation solutions, optimize test execution, and contribute to enterprise-level quality engineering initiatives., * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.

  • 6+ years of experience in Quality Engineering and Test Automation.
  • Strong hands-on experience in Core Java.
  • Deep understanding of:

  • Collections Framework
  • Exception Handling
  • OOP Concepts
  • Data Structures and Algorithms

Extensive experience with Selenium WebDriver and Java.

Proven ability to independently create and troubleshoot XPath locators.

Strong experience with REST Assured for API automation.

Experience designing and implementing automation frameworks from scratch or enhancing enterprise frameworks.

Hands-on experience with version control tools such as Git.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
  • Knowledge of TestNG, Maven/Gradle, and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms and containerized execution environments.
  • Understanding of performance and integration testing concepts.

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: 55786-65295
