Job description

We are seeking an experienced IT Security Manager (CISSP / IAM) to oversee the security of classified information systems supporting U.S. Government programs. The ideal candidate will have expertise in the Risk Management Framework (RMF), NIST, CNSSI, NISPOM, and DoD security standards, with experience managing ATO processes, risk management, continuous monitoring, and ensuring compliance throughout the system lifecycle., * Lead and manage the information security program for classified information systems.

  • Create, maintain, and manage information security documentation and RMF artifacts.
  • Implement, monitor, and maintain technical, administrative, and operational security controls.
  • Achieve and maintain Authorization to Operate (ATO) for classified information systems.
  • Advise software development and engineering teams on integrating security requirements throughout the system lifecycle.
  • Coordinate with U.S. Government sponsors and corporate security organizations to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the Continuous Monitoring (ConMon) program and maintain the operational security posture of classified information systems.
  • Perform risk assessments and support risk management activities for classified environments.
  • Provide security training, guidance, and awareness to program management and technical staff.
  • Support security audits, vulnerability management, incident response, and other security-related activities as required.

Requirements

CISSP or IAM Level III certification is a must, * Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in Information System Security, Information Assurance, or Cybersecurity supporting classified or government environments.
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • IAM Level III certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01M (such as CISSP).
  • Strong experience with the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Authorization to Operate (ATO) processes.
  • Strong knowledge of NIST 800 Series, CNSSI 1253, NISPOM Chapter 8, and related cybersecurity standards.
  • Experience implementing and monitoring technical, administrative, and operational security controls.
  • Experience performing risk assessments and developing RMF documentation.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced, secure government environment., * Do you currently hold an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance?
  • Do you currently hold an active CISSP certification or an IAM Level III certification?
