Data Engineer

Seeking a Level 4 Data Engineer to support a Market Counterparty Risk Management (MCR) system. The engineer will work on a data aggregation and data warehouse platform that brings data from multiple source systems into the application, aggregates the data, and provisions it for market risk and counterparty risk calculations.

The team primarily uses Python, microservices, RESTful APIs, and Dremio for analytical/reporting capabilities. Experience with GenAI-assisted development tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot is also preferred.

Most Important Screening Requirement

Market Risk / Counterparty Risk experience is a key requirement., Experience as a Data Engineer/Software Engineer with strong Python and SQL skills, experience building data aggregation/data warehouse solutions, REST APIs and microservices, and a background supporting Market Risk or Counterparty Risk systems within financial services/capital markets. Experience with Dremio and AI coding tools such as Claude/Copilot is a plus.
