Job description

  • Lead and develop a growing team of Product Designers through coaching, mentorship, and career development
  • Own Product Design hiring strategy and lead recruiting efforts to build a world-class design organization
  • Establish and refine design processes across product discovery, validation, and delivery
  • Drive the evolution of Bubble’s design system to ensure consistency, scalability, and usability across the platform
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to shape long-term product vision and user experience strategy
  • Conduct user research and leverage customer insights to improve product direction and feature development
  • Guide teams through design exploration, prototyping, testing, and iterative refinement
  • Balance user needs, design excellence, and business priorities while making strategic product decisions
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performing design culture that enables the organization to scale effectively

Requirements

  • 10+ years of product design experience solving complex UX challenges within SaaS or technology companies
  • 5+ years of experience leading and scaling high-performing product design teams
  • Experience working within product-led growth (PLG) organizations or SaaS platforms
  • Proven success recruiting, mentoring, and developing senior-level design talent
  • Deep expertise in user research, interaction design, design systems, and product discovery methodologies
  • Experience building scalable design processes that support rapid product development
  • Strong ability to balance user experience, business objectives, and technical constraints when making product decisions
  • Exceptional communication and cross-functional leadership skills

  • Experience with AI-powered products or no-code/low-code development platforms
  • Experience scaling design organizations within high-growth startup environments
  • Strong background leading design systems and design operations initiatives
