Experteer Overview As Manager, Network Engineering, you lead a team delivering reliable enterprise networking services across data centers, WAN, cloud connectivity, and security platforms. You’ll drive incident, change, and problem processes, partner with cross-functional IT teams, and manage budgets and vendor relationships. You’ll shape the operational maturity by implementing automation and runbooks, improving availability and reducing MTTR. This role combines leadership with hands-on engineering in a large, mission-driven financial services environment. Compensation / Benefits * Lead and develop a team of network engineers/techs, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, and workload prioritization * Provide technical direction for complex troubleshooting and operational support across data center, WAN/Internet, cloud connectivity, wireless, load balancing, firewalls, and circuits * Own operational performance and ensure SLAs, resiliency, risk controls, and process adherence for incident/change/problem management * Plan and execute network changes and projects with risk assessment, stakeholder communication, and post-change validation * Lead root-cause analysis and drive corrective actions to improve availability and reduce MTTR * Maintain accurate network documentation and readiness for new services * Coordinate with security, server/platform, service desk, application teams, and external providers to resolve cross-domain incidents * Manage vendor relationships, renewals, and service requests; track deliverables and ensure provider performance * Oversee budget planning and management for network services including hardware, software, circuits, and contracts * Monitor spend, identify risks or savings opportunities, and ensure policy-compliant purchasing Tasks * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field (or equivalent experience) * 7+ years of progressive enterprise network engineering/operations experience * 3+ years of people leadership experience * Experience with change control and incident/problem/change management processes * Budget management experience for technology services * Strong multi-vendor troubleshooting and incident resolution skills Key requirements * Competitive Pay * Bonus for Eligible Employees * 401k Match * Tuition Reimbursement * Medical Insurance * Paid Time Off 160 hours annually
