Job description
We are seeking an experienced Epic Willow Inpatient Application Specialist with a PharmD and active pharmacist license to support, build, optimize, and maintain Epic Willow Inpatient applications for a leading healthcare organization.
This is a highly specialized Healthcare IT role supporting inpatient pharmacy operations. The successful candidate will serve as the Epic Willow Inpatient subject matter expert, partnering with pharmacy, clinical, operational, and IT teams to deliver reliable, optimized Epic solutions that improve patient care and operational efficiency., * Build, configure, maintain, and optimize Epic Willow Inpatient applications
- Support production Epic Willow Inpatient environments
- Perform application configuration, testing, validation, upgrades, and maintenance
- Troubleshoot complex Epic application issues
- Analyze inpatient pharmacy workflows and identify optimization opportunities
- Translate pharmacy and operational requirements into Epic application solutions
- Collaborate with pharmacy, clinical, operational, and technical teams
- Develop application documentation, procedures, and training materials
- Participate in Epic implementations, upgrades, and enhancement initiatives
- Ensure application reliability, security, data integrity, and system performance
Requirements
Active Epic Willow Inpatient Certification - Required
Hands-on Epic Willow Inpatient BUILD experience - Required
Minimum 4 years of Epic experience - Required
Minimum 1 year of pharmacist experience - Required, * Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) - REQUIRED
- Active Pharmacist License - REQUIRED
- Minimum one (1) year of pharmacist experience
Certification
- Active Epic Willow Inpatient Certification - REQUIRED
- Certification must be active and verifiable., * Minimum four (4) years of Epic experience
- Minimum four (4) years supporting healthcare information systems
- Hands-on Epic Willow Inpatient BUILD experience
- Epic Willow Inpatient production support experience
- Experience configuring, implementing, testing, upgrading, maintaining, and optimizing Epic Willow Inpatient
- Experience translating inpatient pharmacy workflows into Epic solutions, * Inpatient pharmacy operations
- Acute care hospital healthcare information systems
- Epic implementation and optimization projects
- Multidisciplinary clinical collaboration
- Pharmacy Informatics, * PharmD
- Active Pharmacist License
- Active Epic Willow Inpatient Certification
- Epic Willow Inpatient BUILD experience
- Minimum four (4) years of Epic experience
- Healthcare IT application support experience
