Job description

Seeking an experienced QIS Instrument Interface Developer to design, develop, and support healthcare and laboratory system interfaces, with a strong focus on medical device and LIS integrations., * Develop and maintain instrument and laboratory system interfaces.

  • Integrate medical devices with LIS and healthcare applications.
  • Work with HL7, ASTM, XML, JSON, and proprietary formats.
  • Develop and troubleshoot interfaces using InterSystems Cache/IRIS.
  • Support Linux/VMS, RS232, terminal servers, and network devices.
  • Manage LIS middleware and interface engines.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum development and testing.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide ongoing application support.
  • Collaborate with technical and business teams on requirements and solutions.

Requirements

Experience: 5-7 Years Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, * 5+ years of InterSystems Cache/IRIS development.

  • Strong medical device/LIS interfacing experience.
  • Hands-on HL7 and ASTM experience.
  • Experience with relational databases and interface middleware.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies.
