Job description

Experteer Overview In this role you will lead hands-on embedded software projects for automotive seating, comfort, actuator, motor, and interior systems. You will work across Systems, Hardware, Mechanical, Validation, Manufacturing, and Customer teams to deliver high-quality solutions, from requirements through release. You’ll own technical delivery, drive architecture and design decisions, and ensure performance, reliability, and safety objectives. This position offers meaningful impact in automotive software development within a collaborative, cross-functional environment. Compensation / Benefits * Requirements analysis and software architecture using ALM tools (Codebeamer) * Develop software architecture, design documentation, and test strategies * Maintain requirements traceability across development * Develop automotive embedded software with Embedded C * Design low-level drivers, middleware, and application software * Optimize software for performance, memory, and power * Follow automotive software standards and guidelines * Support software build, release, and configuration management * Develop and execute unit, integration, and qualification testing * Support debugging, root cause investigations and ensure quality throughout development * Support programs from concept through production launch * Participate in customer reviews and program milestones * Provide technical leadership to software team members * Support DFM/DFX objectives during software development * Communicate risks and development status clearly * Engage with OEM and Tier 1 development requirements Tasks * 10+ years of automotive embedded software development experience * Strong Embedded C programming experience * Experience developing low-level drivers, middleware, and application layer software * Experience creating software architecture and design documentation * Experience with software build, release, and configuration management * Experience with unit, integration, and qualification testing * Experience with CAN and LIN protocols * Experience supporting automotive OEM or Tier 1 programs * Experience with requirements management and traceability * Strong communication, presentation, and technical leadership skills * Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Computer Engineering, or related field Key requirements *
