Desktop Support Engineer - Seattle, Washington

The Desktop Support Engineer role is responsible for providing first and second-level technical support while also managing the efficient assignment and dispatch of service requests. This on-site role ensures end-user issues are resolved promptly-either directly or by coordinating with other technicians-by triaging tickets, prioritizing tasks, and maintaining strong communication between IT and users., * Provide on-site desktop and IT support for end users at the client location.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
• Install, configure, and maintain hardware, operating systems, and enterprise software applications.
• Support network connectivity issues, including LAN troubleshooting.
• Assist with device setup, replacement, and hardware installations.
• Perform basic network troubleshooting using console access when required.
• Document service activities and communicate updates to the service delivery team.
• Follow client IT policies and security procedures while performing onsite tasks.

• Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems and desktop environments
• Experience in hardware troubleshooting and replacement
• Basic understanding of networking (LAN connectivity, switches, routers)
• Ability to diagnose and resolve desktop, printer, and peripheral issues
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work independently in onsite support environments
