Cybersecurity Analyst

Infodat International, Inc. is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to support cybersecurity operations, security monitoring, risk identification, and protection of technology environments.

The Cybersecurity Analyst will work with technical teams to review security events, identify potential threats and vulnerabilities, assist with incident investigation, and help maintain effective security controls. This position is suited to someone with strong analytical and troubleshooting skills who can communicate security findings clearly.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems, alerts, logs, and events for suspicious activity.
• Investigate potential cybersecurity incidents and document findings.
• Assist with vulnerability identification, assessment, and remediation tracking.
• Analyze security events to identify potential threats and unusual activity.
• Support implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity controls.
• Assist technical teams with security-related troubleshooting.
• Participate in security assessments and risk reviews.
• Help maintain security policies, procedures, and technical documentation.
• Track identified security issues through resolution.
• Assist with incident-response activities when required.
• Work with internal teams to improve security practices and reduce technology risk.
• Prepare clear reports regarding security findings and recommended actions.
• Stay informed about cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and defensive practices.

• Education, training, or professional experience in cybersecurity, information technology, computer science, or a related area.
• Understanding of fundamental cybersecurity concepts and security best practices.
• Familiarity with networks, operating systems, endpoints, and common security technologies.
• Understanding of vulnerability management and security monitoring concepts.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to investigate technical issues methodically.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to document findings accurately.
• Ability to handle confidential and security-sensitive information appropriately.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous cybersecurity or IT security experience.
• Experience with security monitoring or vulnerability-management tools.
• Knowledge of firewalls, endpoint security, access controls, and network security.
• Familiarity with security incident investigation and response.
• Relevant cybersecurity or IT certifications are a plus where applicable to the position.
