Job description

Build and maintain robust automated testing frameworks from scratch using Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Design, write, and execute automated test scripts for:
API Testing: REST Assured, Postman
UI/End-to-End (E2E) Testing: Playwright, Selenium
Integrate automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to establish quality gates and provide fast feedback on every pull request.
Identify, reproduce, and log software defects using Jira, working closely with developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Reduce flaky tests, optimize execution speed, and scale test coverage as the application codebase evolves.

Requirements

Programming: Strong understanding of software development principles using Java, Python, or TypeScript.
Automation Tools: Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, and API testing tools such as Postman.
CI/CD & DevOps: Experience with Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, and containerization tools such as Docker.
Database: Ability to query and validate data using SQL.

Essential Skills

Experience building and maintaining automation frameworks from scratch.
Strong expertise in Python, Playwright, and Selenium.
Experience with API automation using Postman or REST Assured.
Hands-on experience integrating automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of defect tracking using Jira.
Experience configuring and managing test environments.
Strong SQL skills for database validation.

Desirable Skills

Experience working in Agile development environments.
Knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript.
Experience with Docker and modern DevOps practices.
