Job description

  • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of UPS systems, PDUs, battery systems, and related electrical equipment.
  • Respond to scheduled service calls and emergency break-fix requests at customer sites.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical issues using test equipment and technical documentation.
  • Complete service reports, work orders, inventory updates, and other administrative tasks accurately and on time.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and provide technical support as needed.
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicle.
  • Travel within the assigned territory to support customer locations.

Requirements

We are seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site installation, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) systems, Power Distribution Units (PDUs), and battery systems. This role is ideal for candidates with a background in electrical, electronics, industrial maintenance, or critical power systems who enjoy working independently and delivering exceptional customer service., * High school diploma, vocational training, or Associate degree in Electrical/Electronics Technology preferred.

  • 0-2 years of experience in field service, electrical, electronics, industrial maintenance, or a related technical field.
  • Military technical experience is a plus.
  • Knowledge of UPS systems, battery systems, PDUs, electrical equipment, or power distribution is preferred.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical and electronic equipment.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
