Job description

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Java Developer to join our vibrant tech team. In this role, you will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining scalable software solutions that power our web and application platforms. Your expertise will drive the creation of robust APIs, microservices, and cloud-based systems, ensuring high performance and seamless user experiences. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, contribute to system architecture, and collaborate within an Agile environment to deliver impactful solutions that meet evolving business needs., * Develop and enhance Java-based applications, focusing on scalability, security, and performance.

  • Design and implement RESTful APIs to facilitate smooth communication between front-end interfaces and back-end systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop microservices architectures using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
  • Participate actively in Agile software development cycles, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Integrate cloud infrastructure services like AWS to deploy and manage scalable applications efficiently.
  • Write clean, maintainable code utilizing design patterns and best practices in software engineering.
  • Conduct system design for new features or system upgrades, ensuring optimal performance and scalability across diverse environments.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in software development with Java and related programming languages such as Python or C++.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure including cloud platforms like AWS or similar providers.
  • Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails is a plus for backend integration tasks.
  • Familiarity with front-end development using JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular is desirable.
  • Knowledge of RESTful API design, microservices architecture, and scalable system design principles.
  • Proficiency with version control tools such as GitHub, Git, SVN, and CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements efficiently.
  • Solid understanding of databases including SQL (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL options where applicable.
  • Familiarity with software design patterns, system security (RBAC), Linux environments, and application development best practices.
