- Design develop and implement Duck Creek based solutions for insurance systems
- Configure and customize Duck Creek applications Policy Billing Claims as applicable
- Collaborate with business analysts to understand and refine functional requirements
- Develop and maintain integrations using XML APIs and web services
- Perform unit testing debugging and code reviews to ensure quality and performance
- Provide production support and troubleshoot application issues
- Maintain technical documentation configuration details and design artifacts
- Follow coding standards best practices and Agile/Scrum methodologies Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery *, Is fully component in own area of technical activity. Shares knowledge and provides guidance and support to others. Proactively anticipates and acts upon clients needs. Fully autonomous to achieve hisorher role. Drive teams and supports team members. Has ability of critical thinking and initiative to continuously improve own and team work.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in P&C insurance with very good understanding of underwriting rating insurance rules forms etc
- Strong experience on Duck-Creek Example Author Server and Express
- Handson experience in design build and configure to meet business requirements and perform unit testing
- Experience in using debugging Tools like Data Tester Example Utility Trace Monitor TSV Debugger etc
- Would be performing technical review of all the development activities
- Added advantage if experienced in custom development in Skins
- Ability to estimate the requirements
- Experience in code check in/out merging and deployment to higher environment
- Ability to guide developers technically and functionally
- Agile/scrum experience
