Job description

The Human Resources & Information Technology Specialist is responsible for providing administrative support for human resources operations, employee records management, information technology coordination, and agency database administration. This position serves as a key support role in maintaining personnel records, ensuring data integrity across agency systems, assisting with technology resources, and supporting compliance requirements for the organization., Human Resources

  • Respond to routine inquiries regarding personnel policies, and benefits.
  • Maintain accurate personnel records related to the employment lifecycle and conduct HR file audits for compliance purposes.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, including orientation and off boarding procedures.
  • Maintain employee attendance, leave, and benefits records. Coordinate leave administration, including FMLA, Short-Term Disability, and Workers’ Compensation paperwork.
  • Support employees with Paylocity navigation, benefit access and assist with payroll, time, and attendance processing.
  • Serve as Safe Environment and Child Protection officer for the agency and ensure background check compliance for other specific programing.

Information Technology

  • Serve as the internal liaison between Catholic Charities staff and the organization’s Managed IT Services Provider.
  • Ensures on and offboarding is coordinated with access to necessary sites.
  • Coordinate and participate in training and development in the realm of information technology and client database management.
  • Assist with management of the Charity Tracker client database system. Coordinate troubleshooting, training and reporting with other support staff.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in HR, and people-facing administrative experience required.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification, a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organizational and filing skills
  • Ability to navigate various employment platforms, i.e., Paylocity etc.
  • Ability to take initiative and self-direct along with problem-solving on behalf of others.

·Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion when handling sensitive information.
