Network Engineer III

Experteer Overview In this role you design, implement and support a secure, scalable enterprise network for a hybrid environment, focusing on Cisco technologies and firewall policy to uphold a strong security posture. You will collaborate across teams to manage switching, routing, access control, SD-WAN, and monitoring, contributing to reliable and secure network services. You’ll work on firewall rule management, upgrades, and technology adoption to support business growth and security standards. This is a hands-on, problem-solving role at a global security-focused leader that values innovation and cross-functional collaboration. Compensation / Benefits * Configure and optimize Cisco Catalyst Center-managed networks * Manage Cisco FMC/FTD firewalls and Cisco ISE for segmentation * Handle SD-WAN connectivity and template management * Process firewall rule requests and NAT changes * Perform software upgrades, patching, and hardware RMAs * Monitor health via SNMP and syslog, triage alerts * Maintain topology diagrams, IP addressing, and change records * Participate in change management and maintenance windows * Own network support tickets through resolution or escalation * Documentation and knowledge sharing across teams * Support capacity planning and continuous service improvement Tasks * Hands-on experience with Cisco networking platforms (routers, switches, Catalyst Center) * Expertise in firewall policy design and best practices * Experience with Cisco FMC/FTD (rulebase, IPS/AMP) and troubleshooting * Strong knowledge of Cisco ISE (802.1x, TACACS+, segmentation, posture) * Working knowledge of Cisco SD-WAN deployment and operations * Proficiency in routing (BGP, OSPF), VPNs, QoS, and L2/L3 architectures * Experience maintaining/troubleshooting enterprise networks * Experience with Palo Alto GlobalProtect & Prisma Access * Clear network documentation and change control * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Ability to work independently and handle complex issues * Excellent verbal and written communication skills Key requirements *
