Java Technical Lead (Microservices & AI Integration)

We are seeking an experienced Java Technical Lead with strong hands-on development expertise in building scalable, cloud-native microservices applications. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of Java and Spring technologies, proven experience leading development teams, and a good understanding of AI concepts and modern AI-driven application integrations.

In this role, you will:

· Lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable and secure Java-based microservices applications.

· Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams while promoting best engineering practices.

· Participate in architecture and design discussions, recommending optimal technical solutions.

· Actively contribute to coding, code reviews, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and production support activities.

· Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and related technologies.

· Drive adoption of microservices, API-first design, event-driven architecture, and cloud-native development practices.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders.

· 10+ years of software development experience with strong expertise in Java technologies.

· Proven experience as a Java Lead, Technical Lead, or Senior Lead Developer.

· Strong hands-on experience with:

o Java 8/11/17o Spring Boot

o Spring Cloud

o RESTful API development

o Microservices architecture

· Solid understanding of distributed systems, scalability, resiliency, and performance optimisation.

· Experience working with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar platforms.

· Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
